**NEW DELHI** – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the release of admit cards for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) examination scheduled for November 25th, 2024. Aspiring ALP candidates can now download their admit cards from the official RRB websites.

The examination, a Computer-Based Test (CBT 1), serves as a screening test for the selection process. CBT 1, lasting 60 minutes and comprising 75 questions, will not contribute to the final merit list. Subsequent stages include CBT 2, a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and a Medical Examination (ME). A total of 18,799 ALP posts are up for grabs across the country.

The passing percentage for CBT 1 varies by category: 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC, and 25% for ST candidates. Both CBT 1 and 2 will have negative marking (one-third of the marks allotted per incorrect answer), while CBAT will not. The RRB advises candidates to visit their respective regional RRB websites for detailed instructions on downloading their admit cards. The exam will continue through November 29th.
