**MUMBAI, INDIA –** Hardik Pandya has returned to the number one spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings, announced Wednesday. This marks his second time at the top this year, following India’s T20 World Cup victory. Pandya’s stellar performances, including a Player of the Series award in India’s recent 3-0 sweep of Bangladesh (118 runs and one wicket), propelled him past Liam Livingstone and Dipendra Singh Airee. He also contributed significantly to India’s 3-1 series win over South Africa earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma’s meteoric rise continues. He jumped a remarkable 69 spots to third in the T20I batting rankings after a sensational series in South Africa where he scored 280 runs, including two centuries, earning him the Player of the Series award. Varma is now the highest-ranked Indian T20I batter, surpassing Suryakumar Yadav and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
