**NEW DELHI** – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the 2025 Class 10th and 12th board examinations. The exams will commence on February 15th, 2025, according to a schedule released by the board. Schools have been instructed to submit the list of participating students to the CBSE.
The detailed schedule, available on the CBSE website (cbse.gov.in), reveals that Class 10th exams will conclude on March 18th, while Class 12th exams will finish on April 4th. The first Class 10th paper will be English, on February 15th. Class 12th exams will begin with Entrepreneurship on February 15th, followed by Physical Education on February 17th.
CBSE has also released subject-specific guidelines including subject codes, class specifications, marking schemes, and answer sheet formats. Schools must adhere strictly to these guidelines to ensure smooth exam conduct.
Sample question papers for both Class 10th and 12th are available on the CBSE academic website (cbseacademic.nic.in) to familiarize students with the latest question formats and marking patterns.
CBSE will continue its policy of not awarding distinctions or announcing toppers. Students will not receive an overall division, distinction, or percentage of total marks, mirroring the 2024 board exam results.
