**New Delhi:** The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the exam schedule for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 board examinations soon. Sources indicate the schedule will be released by November 28, 2024, or in the first week of December 2024.
According to the tentative schedule, the theory exams for classes 10 and 12 will commence on February 15, 2025. Practical exams are slated to begin on January 1, 2025, with winter schools’ practical exams starting between November 5 and December 5, 2024. The CBSE confirmed that the exams will begin on February 15, 2025, when releasing the 2024 exam results.
Once released, the schedule will be available on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. Approximately 4.4 million students in India and 26 other countries are expected to appear for the board exams in 2025. Students must maintain a 75% attendance record to be eligible to participate.
It’s noteworthy that the 2024 Class 10 and 12 board exams were held from February 15 to March 13, 2024, with results declared on May 13, 2024.
