**NEW DELHI** – The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released its first list of 11 candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, three months ahead of the official election schedule. The Election Commission of India is yet to announce the election dates.
The list, released on Thursday, November 21st, includes six candidates who recently joined the AAP from the BJP and Congress. Notable names on the list include Anil Jha, B.B. Tyagi, Veer Singh Dhingan, and Somesh Shaukin. The AAP has shown a willingness to include newcomers in its initial slate of candidates.
