Wed Nov 20 13:30:00 UTC 2024: ## Maharashtra Assembly Election Exit Polls Predict Modest Gains for MNS

**Mumbai, November 20, 2024** – Exit polls for the recently concluded Maharashtra Assembly elections predict limited success for Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). While the party campaigned vigorously across the state, with Raj Thackeray himself leading a spirited campaign, the predictions suggest a relatively small number of seats.

Voter turnout reached an average of 58.22% by 5 PM on election day. Various exit polls offer differing projections for the MNS. The Daily Bhaskar exit poll estimates 2-4 seats for the MNS. Electoral Agency’s poll predicts a combined 20 seats for MNS, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, AIMIM, and independents. Chanakya exit poll forecasts 6-8 seats for a combination of independent candidates, MNS and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi candidates.

Significant attention is focused on MNS leader Amit Thackeray’s electoral debut in the Mahim constituency. He faced strong competition from Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) candidate Sada Sarvankar and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) candidate Mahesh Sawant.

The final results will be announced on November 23rd, revealing whether the MNS can make a significant impact or will remain a minor player in the state assembly.
