**Rio de Janeiro, November 20, 2024** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his participation in the G20 Summit in Brazil with a meeting with Jonas Masetti, a Brazilian proponent of Vedanta and the Gita. Masetti, also known as Vishwanath, presented a glimpse of the Ramayana in Sanskrit to the Prime Minister.
Modi, who previously praised Masetti’s work on his radio address “Mann Ki Baat” in 2020, highlighted Masetti’s efforts in popularizing Indian culture and philosophy in Brazil through technology. Masetti, a former mechanical engineer, runs the ‘Vishwavidya’ institute in Petropolis, Brazil, where he has taught over 1.5 lakh students through free online courses.
