**Lucknow, [Date of Publication]:** The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced the dates for the 2025 High School and Intermediate board examinations. The exams will be held from February 24th to March 12th, spanning 12 days. A total of 5,438,597 students will be appearing for the exams – 2,740,151 for High School and 2,698,446 for Intermediate.
High School exams will commence with Hindi and Prathamik Hindi, while Intermediate exams will begin with Military Science. Practical examinations are scheduled for December and January. This year’s schedule is slightly later than 2024, which began on February 22nd.
In light of paper leaks in previous years, the board has implemented stringent measures to ensure fair and transparent examinations. This includes establishing control rooms at the board headquarters, divisional, and state levels, online CCTV monitoring, and, for the first time, the use of AI technology to deter cheating.
UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh, in his first year overseeing the board exams, released a statement confirming these details and emphasizing the board’s commitment to conducting cheat-free examinations.
