**Hyderabad, November 19, 2024** – Police have arrested three individuals, including the victim’s boyfriend, in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old girl whose body was discovered in Tukkuguda on Friday. The victim, who had been reported missing since November 10th, was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, 22-year-old Vignesh (also known as Chintu), after a series of arguments over marriage.

According to police, Vignesh met the victim through Instagram and their relationship escalated five months ago. He confessed to luring her from her home, staging a marriage ceremony on November 8th with the help of his friends, 22-year-old Saketh and 20-year-old Kalyani. After the staged ceremony, Vignesh murdered the girl at Saketh’s house in Uppuguda before transporting the body to Tukkuguda and disposing of it.

Saketh and Kalyani were also arrested for their involvement in the staged marriage and subsequent disposal of the body. All three suspects are currently facing charges of kidnapping, murder, and destruction of evidence under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. The investigation is ongoing.
