**Kannur, November 13, 2024** – Kannur University has announced several key updates regarding faculty recruitment, examinations, and various community initiatives.

**Faculty Recruitment:** The university is inviting online applications for 32 permanent faculty positions until November 22nd. These include 2 Professor, 12 Associate Professor, and 18 Assistant Professor positions. Printed applications with supporting documents must be submitted to the university by November 29th. **Examinations:** Hall tickets and nominal rolls for the fourth-semester MSc Statistics with Data Analytics exam (commencing November 20th) are available for download on the university website. The timetable for third-semester postgraduate examinations in affiliated colleges is also published on the website. Registration for the third-semester postgraduate supplementary/improvement examinations (October 2024) for various courses, including MSc Statistics with Data Analytics, is open until November 13th. Results for the third-semester PG private registration examinations (Arabic, Economics, English, History) have been published, with applications for re-evaluation accepted until November 23rd.

**Recruitment Rally & Job Fair:** A pre-recruitment rally for aspiring soldiers will be held at various locations across the district from November 17th-24th, organized by Team Kannur Soldiers Academy. A mini job fair with interviews for various positions (Associate Development Manager, Field Marketing Executive, etc.) will take place on November 15th at the District Employment Exchange’s Employability Center.

**Other Announcements:** A service camp for small agricultural machinery will be held in Iritty block on November 14th. Higher secondary teachers with visual or hearing impairments are urged to register with the relevant employment exchange by November 16th. Level crossings between Thalassery-Edakkad and Edakkad-Kannur South railway stations will be closed for maintenance on various dates in November. Applications for the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme (PMSS) for children of ex-servicemen pursuing professional courses are open until November 30th. Vehicle traffic is restricted on the Vaykara-Pankaayam-Potthamkandam road from November 13th-28th due to construction. A free eye and lifestyle disease screening camp will be held on November 17th at Perumbadav. A free diabetes screening program for 25,000 people will be conducted across Kannur and Kasaragod districts, commencing November 14th, along with children’s events. All land tribunal cases scheduled for November 13th have been postponed to January 1st.
