**Rajanna Sircilla, Telangana, November 18, 2024** – A 35-year-old man, identified as Bandi Swami Goud, committed suicide after suffering significant losses in the stock market. Goud, who co-owned a dairy farm with his father in Ellారెడ్డిపేట, had invested ₹35 lakh (approximately $430,000 USD) in the stock market. This investment included his life savings and money raised by mortgaging his family home.

After losing his entire investment, Goud consumed pesticide on November 9th. While he received treatment at a private hospital in Ellారెడ్డిపేట for a week, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away on Sunday. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Police have registered a case based on a complaint filed by Goud’s mother and are currently investigating the matter. The tragedy highlights the devastating consequences that significant financial losses can have on individuals and families.
