**CHENNAI, November 17, 2024** – Actress Nayanthara has received a wave of support from fellow actors and filmmakers following a public dispute with actor-producer Dhanush. The conflict stems from a legal notice Dhanush issued regarding the use of short clips from the film *Naanum Rowdy Dhaan* in Nayanthara’s upcoming Netflix documentary, *Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale*.

In a strongly worded open letter, Nayanthara accused Dhanush of “festering vengeance,” claiming he demanded ₹10 crore for the use of three-second clips from the 2015 film, where she and director Vignesh Shivan (now her husband) met. She described the action as an “all-time low” and questioned his morality, alleging his ego was bruised by the film’s success.
