**Mexico City, Mexico** – Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig has been crowned Miss Universe 2024, defeating 125 contestants from around the globe at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The 21-year-old beauty queen’s victory concluded the 73rd Miss Universe competition on Sunday.
Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina secured the first runner-up position, followed by Mexico’s Maria Fernanda Beltran in second place. Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri and Venezuela’s Ileana Marquez rounded out the top five finalists. The new Miss Universe wore a shimmering pink gown for the final round.
