**Bengaluru, November 15, 2024:** Karnataka has cemented its position as the leading state for startups in India, with a remarkable 18.2% increase in the number of ventures in 2023. The state now boasts 3,036 startups, accounting for a significant 8.7% of India’s total startup ecosystem, according to Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, M.B. Patil.
In a social media post, Mr. Patil attributed this growth to Karnataka’s supportive environment, fueled by policy innovation and strategic initiatives. The state has become a preferred launchpad for new ventures, fostering a thriving startup landscape and reinforcing its reputation as a hub of innovation and opportunity.
“This enduring focus has helped Karnataka attract top talent and significant investments, bolstering its reputation as a hub of innovation and economic opportunity,” the Minister stated.
