**HYDERABAD, INDIA -** Hyderabad is gearing up to host a massive gathering to commemorate the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, known for his teachings of peace and communal harmony.
The celebration, scheduled for Friday at the Exhibition Grounds in Nampally, is being jointly organized by the managing committees of Gurudwara Saheb Secunderabad and Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Ashok Bazar, Afzalgunj.
The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with recitations of Gurbani Keertan (holy hymns) by renowned preachers from across India, including Bhai Lakhwinder Singh from the Golden Temple in Amritsar and Bhai Amarjeet Singh from Patiala, Punjab.
A free community kitchen (langar) and medical camps will be available for attendees and devotees throughout the day.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd as the city comes together to celebrate the life and teachings of Guru Nanak.
