Vijayawada, November 14, 2024 – The British High Commissioner to India, Lindy Cameron, visited Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, November 13, to explore potential collaborations between the state and the UK in key sectors.
During her first visit to the state since her appointment in April, Ms. Cameron met with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to discuss partnerships in deep technology and green energy. She also toured Mangalagiri, where she interacted with weavers and admired their unique “temple border” saree designs.
Ms. Cameron expressed her enthusiasm for strengthening ties between the UK and Andhra Pradesh, particularly in areas like climate change, education, and healthcare.
