**Riyadh, Saudi Arabia** – 38 male coaches have successfully completed the IHF D Licence course in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, held between October 27th and 31st. The course, hosted at the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation premises, was led by IHF CCM Lecturer Dr. Khaled Alsharji.

The intensive training encompassed a wide range of topics, including tactical and technical elements of handball, talent identification, principles of training, periodisation of strength training for youth players, sport psychology, leadership skills, and modern handball trends.

The program emphasized both theoretical and practical components, with each participant undergoing assessment to ensure their eligibility for certification. The day began with practical sessions, where each coach led a 10-minute training segment and received feedback from their peers. The course also included group discussions, perfecting training methods, enhancing individual skills, improving coaching tools, and exploring coaching philosophies.

Dr. Alsharji praised the high level of discussion and training sessions, highlighting the participants’ extensive coaching experience. “The coaches who received the D license have a strong knowledge base in handball,” he stated.

All 38 participants successfully completed the course and received their IHF D Licence certificates.
