Seoul, South Korea – Renowned South Korean actor Song Jae Rim was found dead in his apartment in the Seongdong District on Tuesday, shocking the entertainment industry. He was 39 years old.

The Seongdong Police Station confirmed the news, stating that while the cause of death is still under investigation, there are no signs of foul play. A two-page letter was reportedly discovered at the scene.

Song Jae Rim made his acting debut in 2009 with the film “Actresses” and gained recognition for his role in the popular 2012 drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun.” He went on to star in numerous television dramas, including “Flower Boy Ramen Shop,” “Inspiring Generation,” “Two Weeks,” “Goodbye Mr. Black,” and “Queen Woo.” His film credits include “Grand Prix,” “The Suspect,” and “Crazy Love.”

Beyond acting on screen, Song Jae Rim showcased his talent on stage, most recently performing in the play “The Rose of Versailles,” which concluded on October 13. This marked his final project before his untimely passing.
