The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) will be closing the application process for 500 Assistant positions tomorrow, November 11, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official NICL website, nationalinsurance.nic.co.in.

The recruitment process will consist of two phases: Phase I on November 30 and Phase II on December 28.

To be eligible for the position, candidates must possess a degree from a recognized university and have a certificate proving they passed the qualifying examination as of October 1, 2024.

**Regional Language Proficiency Required**

The official notification stresses the importance of proficiency in the regional language of the state/UT where the candidate wishes to apply. A Regional Language Test will be conducted before final selection, and candidates failing to demonstrate proficiency will be disqualified.

The application fee is Rs. 850 for all candidates except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/EXS categories, who will only need to pay Rs. 100 for intimation charges. Payment can be made through various online modes like debit/credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards, and mobile wallets.

The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 30 years as of October 1, 2024. This translates to candidates born between October 2, 1994, and October 1, 2003.
