**Bengaluru, November 9, 2024:** The Department of Horticulture has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 3F Oil Palm to promote sustainable agricultural practices in three districts of Karnataka: Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Kalaburagi.
This collaboration will empower local farmers with access to cutting-edge agricultural technologies, training programs, and crucial resources. The initiative aims to significantly enhance productivity and contribute to the growth of Karnataka’s thriving horticultural sector.
3F Oil Palm has outlined plans to introduce advanced cultivation techniques, further optimizing agricultural practices. The company will actively oversee the expansion of cultivation areas, develop nurseries, procure sprouts, and cultivate seedlings within the designated zones.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Prakash M. Sabarad, Additional Director of Horticulture.
