Sun Nov 10 14:46:15 UTC 2024: ## India Looks to Seal Series Win in Second T20 Against South Africa

**Gqeberha, South Africa:** India is aiming to clinch the four-match T20 series against South Africa with a victory in the second match at St. George’s Park. After a dominant 61-run win in the first match, India is confident of extending its lead. However, the hosts will be looking to bounce back and level the series at 1-1.

South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first, hoping to capitalize on a strong start. India remained unchanged from the first match, while South Africa made a single alteration to their playing XI.

The Indian team is buoyed by the excellent form of their new opener, Sanju Samson, who smashed a century in the previous match. Samson’s explosive innings of 107 runs off 50 balls, laced with 10 sixes and 7 fours, was his second consecutive T20I century, following a similar feat against Bangladesh.

Early wickets for South Africa dampened Indian spirits, as Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and captain Suryakumar Yadav were dismissed within the powerplay, leaving India struggling at 34/3.

A controversial decision in the fourth over saw Abhishek Sharma being given out caught by Koetze, only for the decision to be overturned by the third umpire following a review. However, the reprieve was short-lived as Sharma fell shortly after, leaving India at 15/3.

Marco Jansen dealt a significant blow to India in the very first over by clean bowling Samson, who had scored a century in the previous match. The South African bowling attack was on fire, putting India on the back foot early on.

Both teams will be hoping for a thrilling contest in the second T20. With India looking to seal the series and South Africa aiming to bounce back, fans are in for an exciting match.
