**Dambulla, Sri Lanka:** Sri Lanka secured a convincing 4-wicket victory over New Zealand in the first T20I match, taking a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
The New Zealanders, batting first, struggled against the Lankan bowling attack, managing only 135 runs in 19.3 overs. Shaker Polk, with 27 runs, was the top scorer for New Zealand.
