**Hyderabad, November 8, 2024:** The Telangana School of Education Department (TGED) has opened applications for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website (tgtet2024.aptonline.in).

The last date to apply is November 20th, 2024. The exams will be conducted between January 1st and 20th, 2025. Admit cards will be available on the official website from December 26th, 2024 onwards. The results are expected to be declared on February 5th, 2025.

**Eligibility and Fee Details:**

Applicants need to have a clear understanding of the eligibility criteria, required documents, and fee structure before applying.

* **For Paper 1 (1st to 5th Class):**
* Candidates need to have a Senior Secondary certificate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates), along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), or a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
* Alternatively, candidates with a Senior Secondary certificate with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) are eligible.
* Candidates with a graduation degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd)/Bachelor of Education (Special Education) are also eligible.

* **For Paper 2 (6th to 8th Class):**
* Candidates must have a BA/BSc/BCom degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd)/Bachelor of Education (BEd Special Education).
* Alternatively, candidates with a BA/BSc/BCom degree with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd)/Bachelor of Education (BEd Special Education) are also eligible.
* Candidates with a 4-year BAEd/ BScEd degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) are eligible.
* For Language Teachers, candidates need to have a graduation degree with the relevant language as one of the optional subjects, or a Bachelor of Oriental Language or Literature degree, or a postgraduate degree in the relevant language, along with a Language Pandit Training Certificate/BEd in the relevant language with methodology as one of the subjects.
* Candidates with a BE/ BTech degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) and a Bachelor of Education (BEd) or BEd (Special Education) are also eligible.

* **Application Fee:**
* Candidates applying for one paper will have to pay INR 750, while those applying for two papers will have to pay INR 1000.
* Candidates who appeared for the TET in May/June 2024 and want to improve their scores are exempted from paying the fee.

**Application Process:**

1. Visit the official website https://tgtet2024.aptonline.in/tgtet/.
2. Click on the ‘Fee Payment’ link.
3. Select the exam paper you want to appear for and pay the application fee.
4. Click on the ‘Know your journal number’ option.
5. Enter your mobile number, date of birth, and select the exam paper. Your journal number will be displayed. Note down this number.
6. Click on the ‘Application Submission’ option.
7. Enter your journal number/payment reference ID, date of birth, date of fee payment and log in.
8. Fill out the TG TET application form.
9. Upload the required documents, photograph, and signature.
10. Submit your application.
11. Take a printout of your application form.
