Actress and model Natasa Stankovic, who recently announced her separation from Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, has clarified that she has returned to India and has no plans of leaving. Speculation arose that Stankovic was moving back to her hometown in Serbia after she travelled there with her son Agastya following the announcement of the split.

In an interview with the Times of India, Stankovic stated that her trip to Serbia was a routine annual visit and not a permanent relocation. “The child goes to school here, there is no chance… The child needs to be here. He belongs here. The family is here at the end of the day,” she said.

Stankovic emphasized that she and Pandya remain a family for their son Agastya and are co-parenting.

The actress also addressed her career hiatus, stating that she chose to focus on her family for the past five years. “I missed that I didn’t do anything for the last five years. I have no regrets in life because I have my child, and I have given the time to him,” she said. However, she is now eager to balance her personal life with her career.

“I just want to live a simple life, with work,” she stated. “I know that the profession that I’ve chosen you are somewhere in the spotlight. People’s assumption doesn’t affect me. I’m at peace with myself. I’m at peace with people assuming about me.”

Stankovic has also announced plans to write a book about her life and the challenges she has overcome.
