**VIRPUR, INDIA** – The 225th Jayanti of Jalaram Bapa, a revered saint and the Kuldev of the Lohana community, will be celebrated on November 8th.

Jalaram Bapa, born on November 4th, 1799, in Virpur, Gujarat, is known for his selfless service and devotion. He renounced worldly life at the age of 18 and became a disciple of Bhoj Bhagat of Fatehpur. His teachings and miracles have left an enduring mark across the country.

Jalaram Bapa founded the Sadavrat Food Center, which provided free meals to saints and the needy. He was known for his inexhaustible supply of grain, a testament to his miraculous abilities. His teachings transcended religious boundaries, attracting followers from both Hindu and Muslim communities.

His legacy continues to inspire countless devotees. Every year, a large-scale celebration is held in Saurashtra, with nearly 3 lakh people visiting the Jalaram temple in Virpur.
