Sat Nov 09 10:45:40 UTC 2024: ## BJP Promises to Strip Tribal Rights from Children of Infiltrators in Jharkhand

**Ranchi, November 9, 2024:** BJP president J.P. Nadda has promised to deny tribal rights to children born to Bangladeshi infiltrator fathers and Adivasi mothers if his party wins the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly Elections. Addressing a rally in Palamu district, Nadda accused the incumbent JMM-led government of sheltering Bangladeshi nationals and vowed to expel them.

“Once the BJP comes to power in Jharkhand, we will not allow infiltration to continue,” Nadda declared, adding that the party would ensure “children of Bangladeshi infiltrator fathers and Adivasi mothers will be denied tribal rights.”

Nadda further criticized the JMM government, labeling it corrupt and comprised of “thieves.” He called for the reinstatement of a “double-engine government” in Jharkhand, arguing that it would promote all-round development.

The BJP’s stance on this issue has sparked controversy, with critics accusing the party of stoking communal tensions and attempting to disenfranchise vulnerable populations. The Jharkhand Assembly Elections are scheduled to take place later this month, with the BJP hoping to unseat the ruling JMM coalition.
