**HYDERABAD, INDIA -** In a significant announcement on his birthday, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to establish a dedicated temple board for the revered Yadagirigutta hill shrine, modelled after the successful Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).
This move aims to improve the temple’s management and ensure effective services for devotees. Reddy also emphasized the importance of restoring the original name “Yadagirigutta” in all official communication and general usage, instead of the current “Yadadri”.
During a visit to the shrine on Friday, the Chief Minister offered special prayers to Lord Narasimha Swamy and held a review meeting with senior officials. He outlined a series of initiatives for the temple’s development, including:
* **Protection of cows and Goshala:** A dedicated policy for protecting cows and maintaining the Goshala on the temple premises will be implemented, with the use of technology considered.
* **Overnight stay facilities:** To accommodate devotees who wish to fulfill their religious vows, facilities for overnight stays on the hill shrine will be created.
* **Vimana Gopuram gold plating:** Works on the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram are to be expedited and completed before the upcoming Brahmotsavams.
* **Land acquisition:** The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite land acquisition for temple development and release necessary funds.
Mr. Reddy instructed officials to submit a detailed report and proposals for all pending works within a week, emphasizing his commitment to their timely completion.
