**Giridih, Jharkhand:** Jharkhand politicians have been actively participating in the ongoing Chhath festival, seeking blessings and extending greetings to the devotees.

**Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidate Kalpana Soren**, contesting from the Gandey assembly constituency, visited Sonabad and Bengabad on Wednesday evening to partake in the ‘Kharna’ ritual. Accompanied by JMM workers, Soren received prasad at the residences of Surendra Mandal and Baski Thakur respectively, seeking blessings from the fasting devotees. She wished the locals a happy Chhath festival, highlighting the festival’s importance in people’s lives.
