**DENVER -** Colorado Avalanche star defenseman Cale Makar exited the game against the Seattle Kraken in the second period with an undisclosed injury. Makar, a former Norris Trophy winner, returned for a brief period in the third period before leaving again.
“He tweaked something late in the second,” said Avalanche coach Jared Bednar, who declined to disclose the nature of the injury. “He wasn’t able to continue.”
