Thu Nov 07 04:20:00 UTC 2024: ## IPO Frenzy Amidst US Election Buzz: Sagility India Takes the Lead
**MUMBAI, INDIA -** Despite the excitement surrounding the upcoming US presidential elections, the Indian IPO market continues to thrive this week, with three new issues already open for subscription and another set to launch tomorrow. The Sagility India IPO, ACME Solar Holdings IPO, and Swiggy IPO are attracting interest from retail investors, particularly Sagility India, which has garnered favor among market experts.
Sagility India, a healthcare service provider operating in the US, is offering 70.22 crore shares valued at ₹2,106.60 crore at the upper price point. This OFS (Offer for Sale) sees the promoter, Sagility BV, divesting its stake. The company exhibits steady growth, consistent margins, and a straightforward business model.
ACME Solar Holdings, a renewable energy company, is aiming to raise ₹2,900 crore through a combination of fresh issue and OFS. The company focuses on large-scale solar, wind, and hybrid power projects, and boasts substantial gross margins.
Swiggy, the popular food delivery platform, is looking to raise ₹11,327 crore through a fresh issue and OFS. However, the company’s dine-out service, which currently runs at a loss, raises concerns. Experts believe its competitor, Zomato, which has achieved profitability, has a better risk-reward profile for investors.
Market experts offer differing views on the IPOs. Arun Kejriwal, founder of Kejriwal Research and Investment Services, highlighted Sagility India’s pricing advantage, making it appealing to retail investors, while cautioning about its P/E ratio. He also noted ACME Solar’s strong gross margins, but emphasized the importance of securing long-term financing for such projects.
Gulati, another analyst, believes Swiggy is like the “Facebook for old people” compared to Zomato and Zepto, which cater to a younger audience. Mohit, another analyst, believes Sagility India offers the most conservative valuation, with a lower P/S ratio and established profitability. ACME Solar falls in between, with high growth potential but a higher valuation multiple.
The choice of which IPO to invest in ultimately depends on individual investor risk appetite, sector preferences, and growth expectations. Sagility India offers a stable option, ACME Solar offers exposure to the renewable energy sector, while Swiggy presents high growth potential with higher risk. Mohit suggests prioritizing Sagility India, followed by ACME Solar, and finally Swiggy.
