**New Delhi, India** – Skoda Auto India has launched its latest sub-compact SUV, the Kylaq, in the Indian market. This marks the brand’s smallest SUV offering in the country, aiming to attract a wider audience with its competitive price point.

The Kylaq’s design draws inspiration from the popular Kushaq, featuring a sporty exterior and a stylish cabin. The interior boasts a sleek black and grey theme with silver and chrome accents, offering a premium look and feel. Key features include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, and an electric sunroof.

Safety is paramount in the Kylaq, as it comes equipped with 6 airbags (standard), electronic stability control, and traction control. The sub-4 meter SUV is available in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige.

The starting price for the Kylaq is set at ₹7.89 lakhs (ex-showroom, pan-India), although specific variant pricing has not been revealed yet. The company anticipates releasing full pricing details at the Global Mobility Show 2025.

Bookings for the Kylaq will open on December 2nd, with deliveries commencing on January 27th, 2025, following the car’s display at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

The Kylaq is set to compete with established players in the segment, including the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger. Furthermore, it will also go head-to-head with upcoming sub-4 meter crossovers like the Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor.
