**New Delhi, India -** Skoda has officially launched its new entry-level SUV, the Kylaq, in the Indian market. Priced starting at Rs 7.89 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan-India), the Kylaq is set to compete with popular models like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
The Kylaq shares design cues with its sibling, the Kushaq, featuring split-LED headlights, wraparound LED tail lights, and the iconic Skoda butterfly grille. Inside, it boasts a black and grey theme with silver and chrome accents, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, and traction control.
Power comes from a single 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, offering both 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. Bookings for the Kylaq open on December 2nd, 2024, with deliveries commencing on January 27th, 2025, following its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
Skoda is offering the Kylaq in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. While the full price list is yet to be revealed, it is expected to be announced at the Expo.
