**Milan, Italy** – Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, made a splash at EICMA 2024, unveiling two new quarter-liter motorcycles, the Xtreme 250R and the Karizma XMR 250, and an electric scooter, the Vida Z.
**Powerful Performance**
Both the Xtreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250 are powered by Hero’s new 250cc single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve liquid-cooled engine, delivering 30 hp and 25 Nm of peak torque. This powerful engine propels the motorcycles to 60 kmph in a mere 3.25 seconds.
**Sophisticated Design and Features**
The motorcycles feature a new trellis frame, a USD fork upfront, and a 6-step preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Both models come equipped with radial tyres and a 50:50 weight balance, promising a thrilling and agile riding experience.
The Xtreme 250R boasts a sporty, muscular design, while the Karizma XMR 250 maintains the design language of its 210cc sibling with a full fairing, sleek lines, aggressive stance, race-inspired winglets, and adjustable clip-on handlebars.
Both motorcycles come packed with features including class-D LED projector headlights with LED DRLs, a lap timer, a drag race timer, switchable ABS modes, and a digital instrument console with phone connectivity, music control, turn-by-turn navigation, and more.
**Vida Z: Electric Mobility for Global Markets**
The Vida Z, designed and developed with global markets in mind, is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drivetrain, offering a blend of efficiency, low maintenance, and performance. The modular architecture allows for various battery capacities, ranging from 2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh.
The Vida Z is equipped with a connectivity suite and cloud platform, enabling features like vehicle health monitoring, theft detection, geofencing, immobilisation, and Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.
**Launch Expectations**
Hero MotoCorp is expected to launch both the Xtreme 250R and Karizma XMR 250 in the coming months. The Vida Z is expected to be available globally soon after its unveiling.
