**HYDERABAD, November 5, 2024:** A comprehensive land survey was conducted at Ameenpur on Tuesday, following allegations of encroachment into the park layout. The survey, covering a total of 150 acres across five survey numbers, was carried out under the supervision of the Hyderabad Disaster Response & Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA).
The survey was undertaken at the direction of the High Court and involved officials from HYDRAA, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), Ameenpur Municipality, and the Survey and Revenue departments. Local residents and colony residents were present during the survey.
This survey comes as a response to concerns about potential illegal land grabbing in the park area, raising questions about the future development and accessibility of the green space. Further investigations are expected to be conducted based on the findings of the survey.
