**PATHANAMTHITTA, November 5, 2024:** The District Collector of Pathanamthitta, S. Prem Krishnan, inaugurated a seminar titled “The Significance of Malayalam” at St. Thomas College, Kozhencherry, as part of the official language week celebrations.

During his address, Mr. Krishnan emphasized the role of evolving media in enriching and promoting the Malayalam language. Screenwriter and lyricist B.T. Anil Kumar delivered the keynote speech at the seminar.

The celebrations will continue with a seminar on the Right to Information (RTI) Act at the District Collectorate. State Information Commissioner A. Abdul Hakeem will inaugurate the event, with Mr. Krishnan presiding.
