**Salem, November 5, 2024:** A seven-month-old male infant was found dead on a roadside near Vazhapadi on Tuesday. The infant was discovered by residents of Pudupalayam near Vazhapadi, lying on the road near the path leading to the Mayavan Hill Temple. Upon receiving the information, the Vazhapadi police arrived at the scene and sent the infant’s body to Salem Government Hospital for a postmortem. The police have registered a case and are investigating further to determine the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
