**Kumbakonam, November 4, 2024:** The Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary R. Mutharasan has alleged that actor Vijay’s newly formed political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), is solely focused on attacking the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK).
Mutharasan made this statement during a press interaction in Kumbakonam on Monday, responding to queries about Vijay’s recent criticism of the DMK. “He has floated the party only to attack DMK,” the CPI leader asserted.
When asked about the possibility of future collaboration between the CPI and the TVK, Mutharasan hinted at a potential alliance, stating that he would inform the media if such a development occurred.
