**NEW DELHI, November 4, 2024** – Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday strongly condemned the attack on a Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, and denounced the alleged surveillance of Indian diplomats by Canadian authorities.
The incident occurred on Sunday when a pro-Khalistan mob disrupted a consular camp at the Hindu Sabha temple, organized by Indian diplomats for Canadian and Indian citizens. The mob chanted slogans against the Indian government and Prime Minister Modi, eventually resorting to violence and entering the temple premises.
“I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats.
