**Brampton, Canada:** A Hindu temple in Brampton, Canada, was attacked by protestors carrying Khalistani flags, sparking widespread condemnation from India. The incident has led to heightened tensions between the two countries, with India demanding justice for the attack.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to express his outrage, stating, “I strongly condemn the cowardly attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. The attempt to intimidate our diplomats is equally reprehensible. Such incidents cannot weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.”

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement, expressing concern over the safety of Indian citizens in Canada and demanding that those involved in the attack be brought to justice. “We condemn the violence at the Hindu Sabha temple,” said MEA spokesperson, Ranjith Jaiswal. “We call upon the Canadian government to ensure that all places of worship are protected from such attacks.”

Former Punjab Chief Minister and BJP leader, Captain Amarinder Singh, criticized Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for accusing India of the murder of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani extremist, without concrete evidence. Singh stated that such accusations, made in parliament, were a violation of the sanctity of the institution and could damage the longstanding ties between India and Canada.

This incident comes amidst growing concerns about the activities of Khalistani separatists in Canada. India has repeatedly raised its concerns with the Canadian government, calling for action against those who promote extremism and violence.
