**Mumbai, November 3, 2024:** Mumbai City FC secured a dominant 4-2 victory over Kerala Blasters FC in a thrilling Indian Super League encounter at the Mumbai Football Arena on Saturday.
The match saw a dramatic turnaround in fortunes for the home team, who trailed 1-0 at half-time before scoring three goals in quick succession to take control of the game.
Nikos Karelis opened the scoring for Mumbai in the 9th minute, but Kerala leveled the score through a penalty by Jesús Jiménez in the 57th minute. The momentum swung back in Mumbai’s favour as they were awarded a penalty of their own, which Karelis converted in the 55th minute.
The match continued to be an intense battle, with both teams creating numerous chances. Nathan Asher Rodrigues extended Mumbai’s lead in the 75th minute, followed by a penalty converted by Lallianzuala Chhangte in the 90th minute, ensuring a comfortable victory for the home team.
