**Nellore, Andhra Pradesh:** The ruling coalition government in Andhra Pradesh has given the green light for a Mega Direct Recruitment of Teachers (DSC). Following the successful completion of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), the government has announced the release date of the results and is gearing up to issue the DSC notification soon.
District Education Department officials have already submitted the details of vacant teaching positions in Nellore to the state authorities. There is a possibility of minor adjustments to the number of vacancies based on the instructions from the state.
The government’s commitment to the Mega DSC has already resulted in the identification of 668 vacancies. Out of these, 615 vacancies are in government, Zilla Parishad, and Mandal Parishad schools, while 53 are in municipal schools.
The Mega DSC promises to address the pressing need for teachers in Andhra Pradesh. The government’s swift action in conducting the TET and subsequently paving the way for the Mega DSC is being welcomed by educators and students alike.
