**New Delhi:** All retired government employees must submit their Life Certificate or Jeevan Pramaan by November 30th to ensure continued pension payments. The submission window opened on November 1st. This annual requirement applies to all pensioners under both central and state governments.
The Department of Pension & Pensioners Welfare (DoPPW) has launched its third and largest nationwide digital Life Certificate campaign, spanning 800 cities and districts across the country. The campaign saw over 1.8 lakh pensioners generating their Digital Life Certificates (DLCs) on the first day.
**How to submit your Life Certificate:**
Pensioners can conveniently submit their DLCs from home using face recognition technology. They do not need to visit a bank or post office. They can verify their identity using biometric technology, but it’s crucial that their Aadhaar number is updated with the pension disbursing authority. They can download the AadhFaceRD and Jeevan Pramaan Face App from the Google Play store to complete the process.
**Other submission methods:**
– **Online:** Through the Jeevan Pramaan portal.
– **Through banks and post offices:** By visiting designated branches.
**Important Note:** If the Life Certificate is not submitted by the end of November, pension payments will be stopped from December.
