Sun Nov 03 12:50:00 UTC 2024: ## San Diego County Offers Multiple Voting Options for Upcoming Election

**San Diego, CA** – With the November 5th Presidential Election fast approaching, San Diego County residents have multiple options for casting their ballot. While every registered voter received a ballot by mail, those who prefer to vote in person can do so at one of the hundreds of designated vote centers.

Early in-person voting began on October 26th at the San Diego County Registrar of Voters Office. Starting November 2nd, over 200 vote centers will open across the county, offering voters a convenient and accessible way to cast their ballot until Election Day. Vote centers are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on Election Day when they will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

These vote centers offer various services, including:

* In-person voting on a ballot marking device.
* Ballot drop-off.
* Accessible ballot marking devices for voters with disabilities.
* Multi-lingual assistance.
* Same-day voter registration and updates.

Voters can visit any vote center within the county, regardless of their residence.

For those choosing the traditional mail-in ballot, completed ballots can be dropped off at official ballot drop boxes located throughout the county. These drop boxes are open until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, and locations can be found online.

The deadline for mail-in ballots is November 5th, 2024. Ballots must be postmarked on or before that date and received by the Registrar’s office within seven days of Election Day. Voters can also use USPS blue boxes, but must ensure the ballot is postmarked by the last pickup time.

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters encourages voters to return their ballots promptly to ensure they are received well before Election Day.

**Last Day to Register:** October 21st is the deadline for registering to vote online and receive a ballot by mail. After this date, voters must register in person at the Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa or at a vote center.
