**SRINAGAR -** A grenade attack at the popular Sunday market in Srinagar left six civilians injured on Sunday. The incident occurred at the TRC crossing when suspected militants targeted a security forces’ vehicle with a grenade. The device missed its intended target and exploded on the road, injuring bystanders.
Five of the injured were taken to SMHS Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. The Sunday market, known for its bustling crowds of shoppers seeking winter clothing and goods, was packed at the time of the attack.
Following the explosion, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
