Director Hannah MacPherson struggles to guide Bailey, whose performance feels lifeless and unemotional. The film also fails to capitalize on its intriguing premise of saving a sibling at the cost of one’s own existence, opting for predictable tropes and a nonsensical ending.
The film’s pacing is clunky, and the supporting cast, including Griffin Gluck, delivers awkward performances, further diminishing the already weak narrative.
