Thiruvananthapuram, November 2, 2024 – The Kerala Bank Employees Congress has demanded the immediate release of Dearness Allowance (DA) arrears for employees of cooperative banks in the state.
Addressing employees during a relay satyagraha on Saturday, union state president V.S. Sivakumar stated that employees will strike from November 28 to 30 if their demands are not met. These demands include the release of DA arrears, the formation of a pay revision committee, and new recruitments.
Sivakumar accused the government of failing to uphold its commitments to the unions and further announced that employees will participate in a march to the official residence of the Cooperation Minister to highlight their grievances.
