**London, UK** – Fortnite players are in for a blast from the past as Epic Games prepares to launch Chapter 2 Remix, a nostalgic re-imagining of the game’s popular Chapter 2 map. The new season will launch on **November 2nd**, bringing a host of fresh features and content inspired by iconic hip-hop artists like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Ice Spice.
The launch of Chapter 2 Remix will be marked by a period of server downtime, starting at **6 am GMT** on November 2nd. Matchmaking will be disabled starting at **5:30 am GMT**. Epic Games has warned that the v32.00 update will be larger than usual, so players are encouraged to allow extra time for the download.
The Chapter 2 map is back with a twist, featuring new points of interest and gameplay elements. Snoop Dogg takes center stage, with his new headquarters, “The Doggpound,” replacing the Agency compound. Players can unlock Snoop’s Drum Gun Mythic, the LBC ‘93 Dogg Outfit, and purchase the Snoop Dogg Outfit from the shop.
Each week of Chapter 2 Remix will highlight a different artist: Eminem in week 2, Ice Spice in week 3, and Juice WRLD in the final week. The season will also feature a new Battle Pass with over 70 items, including the Kicks cosmetic (shoes) launching on November 12th.
