Wed Oct 30 00:58:17 UTC 2024: ## Kali Chaudas: Special Yog for Worship, Protection, and Prosperity

**Ahmedabad, India -** Kali Chaudas, which falls on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, is considered a special day for worship, particularly of Lord Hanuman. According to astrologer Rajendrabhai Dave, the day is auspicious for seeking blessings and overcoming obstacles.

Devotees believe that worshipping deities like Kali, Bhairava, Hanuman, and Narasimha on this day, especially during the night, can ward off evil influences and bring protection. This is also an ideal time for performing rituals to enhance business and prosperity.

“The day is especially significant for worshipping Lord Hanuman,” said Dave. “Reciting the Hanuman Chalisa as many times as possible is recommended, along with chanting the mantras: ‘Om Harimarkaṭ Marakaṭāya Sarvakāryasiddhikārāya R̥ṁ Huṁ Hanumate Namaḥ’ and ‘Om Krīṁ Kāli Kāli Mahākāli Kālike Paramēśvarī. Sarvaduḥkha Hare Devī Mahākālī Namoastuțe.'”

Dave also highlighted the significance of traditional practices for warding off negative energy. “Housewives often prepare fried foods on Kali Chaudas to eliminate negativity from the home. It is also common to offer ‘vada’ and ‘puri’ at crossroads, and to anoint the eyes with oil from a Hanuman temple for protection,” he explained.

The article also mentions the historical significance of the day, highlighting that Lord Krishna vanquished the demon Narakasura on Kali Chaudas, making it a day to celebrate victory over evil.

Beyond religious observances, the day is also considered an auspicious time for tantric practices and the installation of yantras. Devotees often visit temples dedicated to deities like Nakoda Bhairava and Kamakhya Devi for spiritual pursuits.
