Mon Oct 28 17:40:00 UTC 2024: ## “Forrest Gump” Stars Reunite for New Film “Here”

**New York, NY** – Thirty years after their iconic collaboration on “Forrest Gump,” Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, and director Robert Zemeckis are back together for the upcoming drama, “Here.”

While the trio is forever linked to the 1994 Academy Award-winning film, Wright revealed that she and Hanks didn’t have much time to connect during filming.

“We were racing around shooting that movie and every lunch period, Tom was out running, just running wherever they could grab him running,” Wright explained on TODAY.

However, filming “Here” provided a chance for the stars to bond as adults. Wright shared that they were able to spend quality time together and truly get to know each other.

“It was literally like getting the band back together,” she said, highlighting the special reunion with Zemeckis, who also wrote the film.

“Here” is a sweeping story about generations of people living on the same plot of land, spanning the past and future.

“It is relatable human experiences that we all have,” Wright said. “It’s moving in front of you, in this one place called ‘Here’.”

Fans can catch Wright, Hanks, and Zemeckis together on the big screen when “Here” opens on November 1st.
