YOKOHAMA, JAPAN – Chinese wushu athlete Liu Xin took home the gold medal in the Women’s Daoshu competition at the 3rd Taolu World Cup, held in Yokohama, Japan on October 27th. Liu Xin’s impressive performance saw her defeat Indonesian competitor Eugenia Diva Widodo, who claimed silver, and Hong Kong’s Michelle Yeung, who took bronze. The competition showcased the athletes’ skills in Daoshu, a wushu discipline utilizing a Dao (single-edged sword) for elegant and powerful movements.
